Green Channel Notice

The Board of Investment has decided to call for applications for the Green Channel facility in import / export documentation & verification.

The relevant application form can be downloaded from the below link and also collected from Investor Services Department - Director's Office - located on the 06th Floor, West Tower, World Trade Center, Colombo 01.

Please complete the application form and forward to Kaushalya or Dilrukshi & obtain confirmation of the receipt of the application, from the Investor Services Department (BOI).

The completed application form should be submitted before the 28th of February 2014 & please note that no further extension of time will be given.

Paperless Documentation For Exports

Paperless Documentation system for Exports will commence in the near future. In order to implement the system, it is necessary for BOI enterprises to sign a proxy, nominating Custom House Agents who will act as declerents for documentation and clearing purposes.

BOI enterprises should sign a proxy form for each Custom House agent. Each Custom House agent should sign the "Acceptance of Proxy" form undertaking to take full responsibility for all activities performed by him/them.

BOI companies are requested to download the "Proxy" and "Acceptance of Proxy" forms from the BOI Website http://www.investsrilanka.com ( Services Provided by BOI > Investor Services (Imports & Exports). The proxy form should be signed in the presence of the Senior Deputy Director – Exports, Mr. Priyanga Bandara.

Therefore, please contact Mr. Priyanga Bandara - Senior Deputy Director (Exports) on 011-2331912 / Mob: 077- 7721529 or Mr. Ranjith Dharmasiri - Deputy Director (Exports) on 2446533 / Mob: 071-6257590 and obtain a date and time for signing the relevant forms, so that paperless documentation could commence no sooner Sri Lanka Customs introduces the facility.
